Welcome
This page is where I put some stuff about me that doesn't belong anywhere else. The code I write for Shorter Path Software is available here, or is included in products available from the main Shorter Path site.
Who is this guy, anyway?
Well, you know my name. You may also know I'm a software developer, working mostly with Borland Delphi (an excellent tool, and no - I don't want to get into any religious war about this, thanks). I've been a professional developer for about 10 years, but I began programming for fun (sick, isn't it?) long before that, on my trusty old ZX Spectrum.
I live in Israel (Jerusalem, to be specific), and work mostly as a freelance consultant. For information about the services I provide, see the Shorter Path Services page. Work stuff
Like I said, I write software. Over the years I've had the opportunity of working on a variety of systems and projects, including database applications, ERP and CRM systems, search engines, document management systems, and lots of other interesting stuff. In recent years I've been involved in broadcast management software (BMS). Before starting Shorter Path, I worked for a company called SintecMedia on their BMS application, OnAir. I started as the company's CTO, and then moved to the customer-oriented side as Director of System Engineering. During my time at SintecMedia I've worked with many broadcasting organizations all over the world.
After leaving SintecMedia, I began working as an independant consultant. I've also started Shorter Path Software, which provides consulting services and develops utilities and components. Delphi and TeamB
I'm a regular contributor on Borland's Delphi newsgroups, and a member of TeamB. If you have a Delphi related question, try the newsgroups. Please don't contact me directly - I simply don't have the time to answer questions outside the newsgroups. Job offers are always welcome, though.
In addition to the code samples on this site, you may want to check out my CodeCentral submissions.
